Waiting room – The Athenaeum Bury St Edmunds

Capturing interaction between people is, to me, a really important part of photographing a wedding.

This picture is a favourite. Taken at The Athenaeum Bury St Edmunds during Sabina and Tom’s small, intimate ceremony. It includes two sets of interactions, the bride’s parents and bride talking to her brother and partner, the scene is set by stepping back and capturing the environment as well.

I’ve always been inspired by Renaissance paintings and hope this photograph has an element of their style.
